Added two new ones and revised an existing one. There were promises of more colorful marines in the future.

Mid-February
Well February is half over already. It’s been pretty good so far. I have a couple new jobs lined up. The usual new custom tokens and out of the blue got a book cover gig for a small press book. This job came from the reference of a great guy up in Canada. David S. tried to help me keep Four Ugly Monsters going for a while, he was a huge part of the last couple FUMcons. So big thanks to him.
I’ll also get to flex the brain matter a bit by helping Gamewick Games in cleaning up their logos. I’m also working on a map project for a guy in Europe, I will have more info as I get further into that project and take the time to collect the links and names to do the job justice.
Good things recently include watching “The Walking Dead” and a great night out with my wife and girls at Logan’s Steakhouse. Also a new record in visits to the blog… 200+ yeah It’s not way up there but it’s the highest so far so I am happy. I also met with fellow Cartographer MMMMMMMPig for cheesecake.. the delicious kind at the Cheesecake Factory to talk about maps and other things.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope to have some new images to show off next time.
New tokens and Early February News
I spent the weekend making this set of tokens. There is one additional token in there that isn’t part of the set.
If anyone can tell me the setting for these tokens I’ll send the first correct response a free token pack from my store.
In other news, work is steady. It seems when things start slowing down andf I think I will start some of my own projects three or four emails will come in with job offers. Occasionally they will fizzle out but most of the time I end up adding another job to the list and my own projects go on the back burner. So what kind of things would I be doing if I was bored? I have been working on a card game with an amazing illustrator, I’d like to create a boardgame with a sci-fi theme, and continue making new packs of tokens.
Map Set
Here is a set of maps I finished up a couple weeks ago. The guy who commissioned these may want to eventually release them as a set. They were made to be printed 36″x24″.
I’ll be starting another set of maps in the near future for another project. I’ll have more info on that project later.
